Practicing Medicine Without God is Malpracticing Without a Presence

by Dr. Patrick Lawrence

To know the body you must know the whole universe; to know the whole universe you must know God. To know God you must know the soul; to know the soul you must know the spirit. To know the spirit you must know yourself in relationship to God and the whole universe…

Doctors of all kinds and in every field of medicine today recognize that placebo alone is effective in over 30% of the time for relieving distressful symptoms. Why? What is this placebo effect? This placebo effect is the by-product of faith, a sacred and mysterious relationship between each patient and God. Studies have shown that prayers for patients improve the outcome of treatment even when the patient does not know he is being prayed for. Why? Because the love, kindness, generosity, gentleness, self-control, sensitivity, and nurturing wishes of God's children on earth can and does alter the agony or ecstasy of others on our planet. Effective healing is far more than merely man to man, woman to woman, man to woman, or woman to man. If it is to have true worth and lasting value, it must be God to God, within, between, and among His faithful and devoted children.

Blessed is that day when the majority of God's children on earth all realize that each and every one of us are primary care physicians. That is, we are indeed individually and collectively “our brother's/sister's keeper.” Blessed is every day when we each and all begin and end our day with the mystery of mysteries in our hearts and souls: Who is God and who are we? What has God to do with us and what have we to do with God and one another? Why did God make each and every one of us? Where are we before we awaken in the morning, or before we are birthed into a new life? And where do we go when we sleep at night, or when we die and are between lives? Such questions are crucial to the uplifting of all the sciences, mathematics, chemistry, and astronomy, and are vital to understanding the underlying principles of creation, life, and the healing process, as well as the continuum of soul ascension within and between the possession of physical bodies.

While everyone alive today is a doctor and healer in the making, the real medical professionals are those who have learned to integrate their own soul and body and share their own senses with God as they tune into the needs of their patients. They know that the best doctors of all are those who are established partners with God and who make excellent God-companions to their afflicted fellows. Such is the great medicine becoming available on earth today as more and more ascending souls, doctors and patients alike, become more God-conscious and God-loyal in their thinking and practices.

If you want to be a true medical professional in this new day of healing and health, then profess your love and loyalty to God by practicing His Presence every day, seeing God in every person you meet or greet. After all, it is not so much in the pills or herbs or the rituals you may recommend as it is the Godly virtues which are shared that is the best medicine ever for the healing of all diseases on earth. In the final analysis, we are not here to either promote a pill or aggrandize a heal. We are here to host and glorify God and to make a healthy and lasting relationship with Him available to all interested and desirous souls. By contrast, practicing medicine without God is actually worse than practicing without a license. Practicing without God is actually malpracticing without a Presence!
